Winnie Perilla Canup

Development Director of St. James’s Children’s Center

As Development Director of St. James’s Children’s Center since 2014, Winnie Canup ensures the sustainability of the Center’s mission through philanthropic support. She is passionate about sharing the good news of quality early education and how the Children’s Center prepares children for success in school and life.

Before coming to the Children’s Center, Winnie provided development consulting and contract grant writing services for Richmond nonprofits including St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, ChildSavers, Hanover ARC, Sacred Heart Center, and more. Prior to moving to Richmond, Winnie ran a licensed home childcare in Takoma Park, Maryland.
