Richard’s journey at St. James’s has been what he describes as a "liberal arts degree in service and spirituality," spanning the better half of his adult life. His deep roots in the community are reflected in his extensive and varied involvement, having served as a Lector, Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM), and staff member.

Beyond leadership, Richard has been an active fixture in communal life through the Men’s Cooking Team, Men’s Bible Study, the Intentional Spirituality Group, and Sacred Ground. While his roles have been many, the "constant thread of blessing" remains his dedication to making music with the West Gallery Choir. Grateful for the years of nourishment he has received from St. James’s, Richard is honored to give back to the community that has shaped him.
