A New Thursday Routine

THE REV. BETH FRANKLIN
Over these past few months, I have been constantly reminded of what a gift it is to move through life alongside this community. Whether we are gathering for worship, navigating transitions, or simply catching up over coffee, the beautiful reality of life at St. James’s is that it is never about just one of us. It is always about us—the vibrant body of Christ.

We are an active parish, which means there is much happening on our campus and within our community every single week. There are important organizational updates to share, logistical shifts to communicate, and, perhaps most importantly, amazing stories of grace, faith, and connection unfolding right in our midst.

To help us stay connected to the heartbeat of our community, we are introducing a new weekly email called Voices of St. James's, which will arrive in your inbox every Thursday.

Our hope is that you will make reading these updates a part of your weekly routine—perhaps a quiet moment to pause—an opportunity to check in with your spiritual home. Staying informed about our shared life helps us better care for one another and ensures we all understand how our story is bound up in God’s story.

True to its name, this email won’t just be a space where you hear from me. St. James's is blessed with an incredible wealth of leadership and perspective. In the weeks and months ahead, you will hear from different members of our clergy team, our Vestry, our staff, and individuals from across the wider community. Each week will bring a different voice, a different perspective, and a different window into how God is working through St. James’s.

We look forward to sharing this new journey with you. Thank you, as always, for the many ways you are with us—sharing your time, your heart, and your presence with this community.
